Chery has reached a major milestone by exporting nearly one million vehicles in 2024. This achievement marks the first time a Chinese automaker has accomplished this within a year.
From January to October, China exported 4.1 million passenger cars. Chery contributed nearly 940,000 of these, meaning one in every four exported cars is a Chery model.
To celebrate this achievement, Chery held a ceremony in Wuhu, Anhui Province. During the event, 332 Omoda 5 models were loaded onto a river transport bound for Shanghai. From there, they will be shipped to Belgium, a journey expected to take about two months.
Chery’s strategy, “In China, For Global” and “In Somewhere, For Somewhere,” focuses on meeting diverse market demands. The company tailors vehicle compliance, adaptability, and competitiveness for each region, enhancing its global presence.
