Mari Petroleum Seeks Shareholder Approval to Change Name to Mari Energies Limited

Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI) seeks shareholders’ approval to change its name to Mari Energies Limited.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of Mari Petroleum Company Limited will be held on Thursday December 19, 2024, to table the resolution for the name of the Company to be changed from “Mari Petroleum Company Limited” to “Mari Energies Limited”, subject to the approval of the Registrar, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

If approved, then the Managing Director and the Company Secretary of the Company will be authorized, either singly or jointly, to sign and execute all forms/documents and take all necessary steps for the change of name.

“The aforesaid resolutions shall be subject to any amendment, modification, addition or deletion as may be required and such amendment, modification, addition or deletion shall not require fresh approval of members,” the filing added.
