Toyota is preparing to launch its highly anticipated electric SUV, the bZ3C, in early 2025. Part of the bZ series, which marks the automaker’s ambitious entry into the fully electric vehicle market, the bZ3C promises cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and a sleek design.
The midsize SUV is set to compete in the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment, offering up to 630 km range. With its high-tech features and futuristic design, the bZ3C is designed to appeal to both tech enthusiasts and eco-conscious drivers alike.
Exterior
The Toyota bZ3C offers a sleek, modern design with eight different looks, thanks to five exterior color options, including black, white, gray, orange, and red. Some of these colors come in a two-tone version with a black roof. The SUV’s dimensions are 4780 mm in length, 1866 mm in width, and 1510 mm in height, with a 2880 mm wheelbase, making it a spacious midsize vehicle. The bZ3C also stands out with a Lidar unit on top of the windshield.
Interior
Inside, the bZ3C boasts a minimalist yet high-tech cabin with options for red, black, or white upholstery. The 15.6-inch infotainment screen is the centerpiece, offering access to over 200 third-party apps. It also features advanced AI-driven systems, such as facial recognition, in-car video calls, and voice and gesture controls.
The car’s interior includes a unique driver and occupant monitoring system, with the dashboard featuring an instrument panel set near the windshield. The front seats can fully recline, creating a comfortable lounging area.
Performance and Powertrain
The Toyota bZ3C is powered by a 200 kW TZ200XS003 electric motor and comes with two battery options provided by BYD’s FinDreams. The car offers two driving range options: 550 km and 630 km, depending on the model, as measured under the CLTC testing system. The car is equipped with smart driving capabilities, including urban driving, high-speed cruising, and parking features, all backed by a Lidar unit for enhanced precision.
