Pakistan Bags 10 Awards at APICTA 2024

Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), has announced that Pakistani IT companies have won 10 annual international awards at the prestigious Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2024 held in Brunei Darussalam.

In Banking, Insurance and Finance, Pakistani brand Cheque Mate won the accolade; in Media & Entertainment, Pakistani Ticket Wala won the award; whereas, in the Retail & Distribution sub-category, the award went to Adlytic AI. ⁠

Sajjad informed that in the ⁠Tertiary Students category, HemAIDX, National University of Science & Technology (NUST); Dermopsy, NUST College of EME and Augmented Reality Based User Manuals from Air University’s Aerospace & Aviation Campus at Kamra, won the honors.

Muhammad Umair Nizam, Senior Vice Chairman of P@SHA, added that in the Internet of Things (IoT) sub-category, Pakistan’s ALEF, won an award; Adlytic AI won a second award in the ⁠Startup of the Year sub-category as well. Additionally, Pakistani Augmented Reality Based User Manuals from NUST, also won a second distinction as the People’s Choice Award.

It is pertinent to note that APICTA’s member economies include Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
