Police Arrest Child Trafficking Gang in Lahore

Chuhng police have apprehended 12 members of a gang involved in the abduction and trafficking of minors, successfully rescuing two kidnapped children during the operation.

The suspects taken into custody include Shahnaz, Sanai, Mashael, Ramzan, Shahbaz, Matiur Rehman, Yaqub, Inam Abbas, Fatima, Kanza, Zainab, and Meraj Bibi. However, one suspect, Inam Yaqub, managed to escape and remains at large.

Police officials have confirmed that the rescued children have been handed over to the Child Protection Bureau for their safety and care. A formal case has been registered against the arrested individuals.

During initial questioning, the female suspects admitted to being involved in buying and selling children. They revealed that they had sold multiple minors, earning up to Rs. 2.3 million through these illegal activities.
