IT students in Sindh will now benefit from online lessons taught by Harvard and University of Chicago professor Randall Kroszner as part of a new initiative by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, ARY News reported.
The collaboration aims to provide high-quality education to aspiring IT professionals in the region. Professor Kroszner will conduct online sessions twice a week, focusing on enhancing students’ technical skills.
The plan was finalized during his meeting with Governor Tessori, where they discussed educational advancements and other key matters.
During his visit, Professor Kroszner toured the IT marquee and observed the Governor’s ongoing initiatives, including the “Umeed ki Ghanti” (Bell of Hope) program and a ration distribution drive. He praised these efforts to support underprivileged communities and expressed enthusiasm about teaching local students.
Previously, Governor Tessori launched a program to subsidize fees for Google certifications for IT students. Following discussions with Google representatives in Islamabad, an agreement was reached to offer certifications to students who pass the qualifying exams.
