A massive fire erupted at Jameel Sweets in Islamabad’s Blue Area on Monday, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources revealed that the blaze, caused by an electrical short-circuit, rapidly spread throughout the shop.

Firefighters, along with local police, arrived promptly at the scene with three fire brigade vehicles and successfully brought the fire under control. The cooling process was underway to prevent any further incidents.
This incident follows another major fire in July 2024, when approximately 500 shops were destroyed in a Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad.
Rescue officials reported that the July fire started in the shoes and clothes section and quickly spread, engulfing a large portion of the market.
