The number of cellular subscribers, 3G/4G users as well as penetration in Pakistan in November 2024, decreased from 193.309 million by end October 2024 to 193.238 million by the end of November the PTA revelead.
Further, the number of 3G and 4G users in Pakistan also decreased from 139.123 million by the end of October 2024 to 139.037 million by the end of November.
The Monthly Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) penetration has declined from 57.02% by the end of October 2024 to 56.9% by the end of November. Total teledensity, which is the number of connections for every hundred individuals in the country, decreased from 80.3% by the end of October to 80.1% in the same period.
Subscriber Loss for Each Telco
Jazz’s total count for 3G users declined from 2.08 million by the end of October to 1.54 million by the end of November. Jazz 4G users increased from 49.861 million to 50.19 million. Zong 3G subscribers decreased from 1.89 million to 1.86 million while the number of 4G users increased from 38.12 million to 38.30 million during the same period.
Telenor 3G subscribers decreased from 1.434 million to 1.388 million while the number of 4G users of Telenor decreased from 25.478 million by the end of October to 25.428 million by the end of November. Ufone 3G users stood at 2.047 million compared to 2.10 million and the the number of 4G users increased from 16.43 million to 16.47 million.
