Faisalabad has recently witnessed a surge in crimes targeting food delivery workers, with four incidents reported over the span of two days.
Three of the robberies occurred within the same police precinct, specifically targeting employees of a single food outlet. During the attacks, the robbers seized not only cash but also food items such as burgers and other meals intended for delivery.
Police authorities confirmed that all four incidents took place during the nights of December 30 and 31. Investigations are ongoing, with separate cases filed in an effort to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
Efforts are being intensified to curb these crimes and ensure the protection of delivery workers who play a vital role in the city’s food service industry.
