Participants also enjoyed cultural performances, a Rangeela Rickshaw Ride, and refreshments as part of the experience.

The event attracted approximately 150 tourists, reflecting a growing public interest in Lahore’s cultural history. WCLA has now made this tour a regular monthly event.

Asghar Hussain, Deputy Director of WCLA Tourism, commented, “The old havelis represent a crucial aspect of the city’s architectural heritage. They provide insights into traditional lifestyles and the social structures of the past. Unlike structures built by rulers, these historic homes were shaped by everyday people, embodying the unique architectural identity of the old city. WCLA is committed to preserving and promoting this heritage for public appreciation.”
