Samsung will unveil the eagerly awaited Galaxy S25 lineup on January 22, and critical information regarding the Galaxy S25 Ultra has emerged from a trusted source. This flagship model will deliver several upgrades over its predecessor, featuring enhanced performance, accelerated wireless charging, and superior configurations.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain the premium design language of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra while introducing minor refinements. The device is said to measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 219g, making it slightly taller, narrower, thinner, and lighter than the S24 Ultra.
The phone will feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. With a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and HDR10+ support, the screen will ensure excellent outdoor visibility and impressive color accuracy.
Samsung powers the Galaxy S25 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring high performance and efficiency across all regions. The phone will launch in three storage options: 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage, 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage, and 16 GB of RAM with a robust 1 TB of storage. This significant upgrade in RAM for the higher storage variants sets it apart from its predecessor.
As for software, it should come with One UI 6.1 on top of Android 15, complete with AI features and performance upgrades.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will support the same old 45W wired charging but faster 25W wireless charging, up from 15W in the S24 Ultra. Samsung will soon disclose the precise battery capacity, which is expected to closely align with the S24 Ultra’s impressive 5,000 mAh battery.
