The Sindh government has directed private schools to refrain from charging June and July fees from matric students appearing in exams this year, according to ARY News.
Rafia Javed, Additional Director of Private Schools Karachi, revealed during the ARY News show Bakhabr Sawera that complaints were received about private schools demanding advance fees for June and July from matric students.
As per the directive, matric students scheduled to take their exams in March 2025 are only required to pay fees up to April 2025. Schools violating this rule will face strict action, the additional director warned.
Students from primary to 9th grade must still pay their June and July fees. Fee vouchers for these months will be issued in April and May 2025, and payments must be completed by the end of July.
This measure aims to address the concerns of matric students and their families while ensuring compliance from private schools across Sindh.
