Wedding Halls Will Face Action Over Aerial Firing

Karachi police have implemented strict measures to prevent aerial firing incidents, focusing on wedding hall administrations as part of the crackdown. Under the new directives, wedding hall management will face legal consequences if aerial firing occurs near their premises during events.

District police officers have been instructed to ensure these rules are firmly enforced. Additionally, station house officers (SHOs) are tasked with notifying wedding hall administrations within their areas about these regulations. Legal action will also be taken against individuals involved in aerial firing during functions.

To raise public awareness, Karachi police plan to install banners across the city discouraging this hazardous activity. The move comes in response to the increasing injuries and fatalities linked to celebratory gunfire.
