Samsung Accidentally Leaks New AI Features Coming With Galaxy S25 Series

Just days before Samsung’s anticipated Galaxy S25 launch event next Wednesday, new leaks have emerged revealing additional AI capabilities planned for the flagship devices.

Android Headlines briefly published what appeared to be an official Samsung promotional video before it was swiftly removed, likely at the request of the tech giant hoping to preserve the surprise of its upcoming announcements. The leaked footage showcased several AI features, including a previously rumored daily morning briefing function powered by AI.

The video also showcased an audio eraser feature designed to eliminate unwanted background noise from video recordings – a feature already available to users of select Google Pixel phones. The video confirms that Google’s Gemini AI is behind these features, something Google and Samsung have been working together on for a while, which was shown off in the form of Circle to Search last year.

The leaked footage also shows improvements to nighttime video recording on the Galaxy S25, though it remains unclear whether these enhancements come primarily from AI advancements or upgraded camera hardware, or maybe both.

Additionally, the promotional material reveals plans for a substantial upgrade to Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby. This development sets the stage for what could be an intriguing competition between Bixby, Siri, and Google Assistant’s revamped assistants with AI.

The next-generation Bixby features were prominently displayed in the promotional video, which you can check out below.

The end of the video shows four phones next to each other, one of which is expected to be the new Galaxy S25 Slim model. However, reports have said that the S25 Slim will only be teased on the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked ahead of the official announcement in May.
