DIRBS Mobile Registration System to be Unavailable for 12 Hours

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced a scheduled maintenance period for its Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS). The maintenance will take place from 8:00 PM on 24th January 2025 to 8:00 AM on 25th January 2025. 

According to the PTA, during this time, DIRBS will be unavailable for mobile registration and related activities. 

This proactive measure by the PTA is part of its commitment to ensuring the continuous improvement and maintenance of the system, which plays a crucial role in the registration and blocking of devices in Pakistan.
