Dr. Amjad Ali stated that, following Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s directive to establish modern housing societies, the provincial housing authority conducted a survey in Haripur and identified a 3,100-kanal piece of land for the project. Of this, 2,765 canals will be allocated for housing, while the remaining area will be reserved for recreational and commercial purposes.

“The housing scheme will be developed in phases, with the first phase covering 1,200 kanals of residential land,” he explained. He inspected the preliminary work and directed the housing authority’s survey team to expedite the feasibility study and submit it for approval to ensure development begins within the targeted timeline.

Former provincial minister Yousuf Ayub Khan remarked that the project would significantly enhance Haripur’s infrastructure and appeal. He added that the housing scheme, located just 40 kilometers from Islamabad, would provide a state-of-the-art living experience for Haripur residents and attract potential investors.
