PEC Announces Professional Engineer Exam Schedule Across Pakistan

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced the schedule for the 27th Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) Fall 2026 for registered engineers across Pakistan.

According to PEC, the exam will be conducted as a computer-based test on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The examination is for registered engineers who want to apply for the title of Professional Engineer (PE).

The exam will be held in different cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Karachi, Hyderabad/Jamshoro, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Quetta, Gwadar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad AJK.

Registered engineers who graduated on or after January 15, 2008, are eligible to apply. Applicants must also have at least five years of practical experience in the relevant engineering field after PEC registration.

Candidates are required to have 17 CPD points, including up to 10 CPD points from work experience and 7 CPD points from other CPD categories.

PEC said candidates who appeared in the 24th, 25th, or 26th EPE but could not pass one part may also apply again for the remaining part.

The fee for both parts of the exam is Rs. 5,000 plus bank charges, while candidates applying for one part will pay Rs. 2,500 plus bank charges.

The last date to apply is August 15, 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through the PEC CPD portal, where the exam format, syllabus, study material, and guidelines are also available.
