The Balochistan government has finalized a comprehensive framework aimed at generating 215,000 job opportunities across the province.
This initiative was announced during a recent meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan. During the session, Mr. Khan emphasized that Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti is committed to creating employment opportunities for the province’s youth.
However, it was acknowledged that the government alone cannot accommodate the employment needs of every job seeker due to limited resources.
The meeting highlighted the critical role of the private sector in driving economic growth and development.
Sector-specific strategies and plans were discussed, with clear targets set to create employment opportunities.
It was agreed that investment proposals for the upcoming year should aim to deliver at least 215,000 jobs.
Officials noted that the chief minister’s administration has already provided a vision and policy framework, leaving its implementation to the civil servants.
The plan is designed to foster vocational opportunities for the youth while contributing positively to the province’s overall economic and social landscape.
The government expressed hope that these programs would encourage the younger generation to pursue constructive career paths, ultimately improving conditions across Balochistan.
