The deadline for submitting applications for 6,000 vacancies in the Punjab Police closed on January 25.
According to police officials, by the cutoff date, 12,800 applicants from Lahore had submitted their forms, while more than 110,000 candidates from the entire province applied for the positions.
After the initial screening process, those who meet the required criteria will be called in for physical fitness tests, including running and measurements. Punjab’s Inspector General (IG) has announced that recruitment committees will be formed this week to officially begin the hiring process.
Candidates who successfully pass the physical tests and written exam will then be shortlisted for interviews as part of the final selection stage.
The entire process aims to ensure that only the most qualified individuals are selected for the roles within the Punjab Police Force.
