French Embassy Warns Pakistanis Against Fake Visa Appointment Services

The French Embassy in Islamabad has warned the public against individuals falsely claiming they can secure appointments for consular services meant for the French community.

According to the Embassy, several social media posts are advertising appointments for services related to marriage registration, family reunification, and OFPRA/OFII. Some of these posts also claim to offer urgent appointments and ask applicants to contact them through private messages or WhatsApp.

The Embassy said these individuals are not authorized to provide such services and described the offers as fraudulent. It urged the public not to engage with anyone claiming they can arrange or guarantee consular appointments.

Applicants seeking consular or visa-related services have been advised to use only the Embassy’s official appointment channels.

Visa applications from Pakistan are processed by the French Embassy in Islamabad through the official France-Visas system.
