The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) chairman has provided an estimated timeframe for announcing the CSS 2024 results.
During a hearing at the Islamabad High Court, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani considered a petition seeking a delay in the CSS 2025 exams until the CSS 2024 results are declared. Among the petitioners was Hamza Javed, represented by Advocate Ali Raza.
FPSC Chairman Lieutenant General (Retd.) Akhtar Nawaz Satti informed the court that the results are expected in the last week of April. He stated that the petition was denied since candidates would still have opportunities to take future exams.
He also pointed out that one petitioner had already exhausted all attempts and was not directly affected. The commission has arranged 88 exam halls nationwide and dispatched the required papers to the centers.
Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Duggal argued that the CSS 2025 exams, set for February 15, could proceed as scheduled, even if the previous results were pending.
He cautioned that delaying the exams might lead to confidentiality issues. After reviewing the arguments, the court reserved its judgment on the matter.
