The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has reaffirmed its suspension of admissions to all programs and disciplines at Isra University, citing an ongoing restriction that has been in place since Fall 2022.
In a recent public alert, the HEC reiterated that the suspension applies to Isra University’s main campus in Hyderabad, as well as its sub-campuses in Islamabad and Karachi and all affiliated units, including Isra Medical Colleges.
The notice warns that admissions to the university remain banned until further notice, emphasizing that any students enrolling in degree programs—including medical fields—from Fall 2022 onward will not have their degrees recognized by the HEC.
Students and parents have been advised to take this warning seriously, as unrecognized degrees can affect future employment and further education opportunities.
The HEC continues to monitor the situation and urges students to stay updated through official channels.
