A surprising case of fraud in police recruitment has surfaced, where a police officer’s son tried to cheat by avoiding the required running test. Instead of completing the race himself, he arrived at the finish line on a motorcycle.
The incident happened at Sakhi Sarwar police station near DG Khan, where Constable Tauseef attempted to help his son, Adeel, in the recruitment process. He was caught in the act, trying to bring Adeel to the finish line on a bike. As soon as the police noticed, Adeel managed to flee, but his father was taken into custody.
After the event, senior officials took immediate notice. RPO Dera Ghazi Khan Captain (Retd.) Sajjad Hassan Khan and DPO Syed Ali Kazmi have ordered a detailed investigation into the case.
A legal case has now been filed against the constable and his son at the Sakhi Sarwar police station. To ensure fairness in the selection process, authorities have also halted the issuance of recruitment permits (Hablans) for officers at the station.
This case has raised serious concerns about integrity in police hiring, highlighting the need for strict measures to prevent corruption and favoritism in law enforcement.
