Several staff nurses and citizens sustained injuries when an elevator at Mayo Hospital Lahore suddenly fell, 24NewsHD TV reported on Thursday.
Sources revealed that the incident occurred in the orthopedic ward due to a technical malfunction. Notably, the affected elevator was newly installed in the same ward just last year.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the failure to prevent future incidents.
