Pika Labs Launches iOS App for AI Video Creation on the Go

Pika Labs has introduced an iOS app for users who want to experiment with AI-powered video creation on the go. The app arrives shortly after Pika 2.1’s release, bringing improved video quality, more realistic motion, and lifelike people and animals. Users can also opt for Pika Turbo, a faster but slightly less refined model that consumes fewer Pika credits.

The app includes all of Pika’s popular tools. Pikaffects allows users to create surreal, dreamlike transformations, turning everyday images into melting, morphing visuals reminiscent of Salvador Dalí’s artwork. Meanwhile, Pikadditions lets users insert new elements into videos—whether adding a dragon to a backyard BBQ or placing themselves into their favorite movie scene.

For those who want to create short animated narratives, PikaScenes (formerly known as Scene Ingredients) provides AI-generated characters, props, and settings based on user-uploaded photos or text prompts. Additionally, the app introduces a new mobile-exclusive feature called PikaMemes, allowing users to animate memes by blending images with emojis or reaction templates.

Subscription and Token System

Pika offers 150 free monthly tokens, but creating high-quality videos quickly uses them up. Basic Pika Turbo videos cost around five tokens, while the more advanced Pika 2.1 model can require up to 60 tokens per video. Users can subscribe to a Basic plan ($8/month) for 700 credits or a Standard plan ($28/month) for 2,300 credits to unlock more features and higher-quality outputs.

With its impressive AI-powered video tools now available on iOS, Pika Labs is giving creators new ways to craft unique and engaging content—whether for TikTok, Instagram, or just personal enjoyment.
