A U.S. military aircraft carrying deported Pakistani immigrants is set to land in Pakistan this week, diplomatic sources revealed.
According to reports, the first flight will transport eight Pakistani nationals residing illegally in the United States.
The deportation flight will depart from the U.S. on February 26 and will arrive at Noor Khan Airbase in Pakistan on February 27.
A C-17 aircraft operated by the U.S. military will be used for the deportation. Sources indicate that U.S. authorities had recently shared details of 10 individuals with Pakistan for verification.
After reviewing the credentials, Pakistani authorities confirmed the identity of eight individuals, who are now being sent back.
