The revised curricula emphasize key aspects such as program nomenclature, eligibility criteria, program learning outcomes, course structures, learning objectives, degree requirements, and elective options to accommodate specialized areas in demand and align with international standards and local needs.

Each curriculum corresponds to levels 5, 6, and 7 of the National Qualifications Framework. HEC has urged universities to adopt these revised standards in the specified disciplines to ensure uniformity and quality in education across Pakistan. Detailed information about the updated curricula is accessible on the HEC website.
