As reported by 24NewsHD TV channel, the Punjab government has opted to implement rigorous measures under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline, and Accountability (PEDA) Act against education personnel who are absent from examination duties.
The Punjab Education Minister has instructed authorities to strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards staff members who fail to fulfill their duty obligations and has promptly requested lists of those not adhering to these requirements.
Highlighting adherence to service regulations, the minister underscored that no government teacher is permitted to decline examination duties, cautioning that severe disciplinary actions will be initiated against any violators.
