The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced scheduled maintenance of its Device Identification, Registration, and Blocking System (DIRBS). The initiative aims to enhance system performance and improve the user experience.
According to PTA, the maintenance process will take place from 7:00 PM on March 7, 2025, to 11:45 PM on March 9, 2025. During this period, the mobile registration service will be temporarily unavailable.
The authority stated that this proactive step is essential for strengthening the system and ensuring uninterrupted services for mobile users across the country.
In its statement, PTA expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the public and media and has assured that all services will resume as usual once the maintenance is completed.
