Here is Your First Official Look at Google Pixel 9a

Google’s Pixel 9a has surfaced in a fresh batch of leaked marketing images, giving us an official look at the upcoming budget phone. The leak reveals color options, design changes, and key features, as shared by popular tipster Evan Blass.

The Pixel 9a will come in four colors: Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Peony (pink), and Iris (purple). The leaked images also confirm an updated rear design, featuring dual cameras that sit nearly flush with the back panel.

Ecosystem Integration

The leaks also showcase the Pixel 9a’s integration with Google’s Gemini AI, showing how it works within apps like Maps, Calendar, and YouTube. Additionally, the device will feature Google’s Theft Protection, a security enhancement now included in Android 10 and later versions.

Expected Specifications

Google is expected to launch the Pixel 9a on March 19, featuring a Tensor G4 chipset, a 6.3-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging.

On the back, the Pixel 9a will feature a 48MP main camera with a 1/2″ type sensor alongside a 13MP ultrawide lens. It will also be the first Pixel device to launch with Android 15 out of the box. Google is expected to set the starting price at $499 for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/256GB version may cost $599.
