Samsung plans to officially unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge next month, following its early teases during the Galaxy S25 series launch event and a subtle appearance at MWC 2025. While the company has yet to confirm full details, trusted leaker Ice Universe has shared new information that gives us a clearer picture of what to expect from Samsung’s slimmest premium phone in years.
Samsung is expected to price the S25 Edge similarly to the Galaxy S25+, which starts at $999. While the company hasn’t confirmed the exact price, it will likely place the S25 Edge within the same premium range.
Samsung may officially launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in April, but earlier reports suggest the device could arrive in stores as late as May, with an initial production run limited to just 40,000 units. This limited availability could make the phone even more exclusive.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 Edge will weigh 162 grams and measure just 5.84mm thick, making it noticeably thinner than the standard Galaxy S25, which comes in at 7.2mm. While the Edge isn’t any lighter, the major design shift is in its ultra-slim profile, making it one of Samsung’s sleekest phones to date.
A leaked front render also shows the device sporting extremely thin bezels, reportedly as slim as those on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, paired with a 6.65-inch display. If accurate, this would give the Edge a modern, minimal look that could appeal to users wanting a more refined design.
Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy S25 Edge with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, matching the configuration of the other S25 models. However, the camera setup is more minimal, with only two rear sensors—a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide. There’s no telephoto lens, which may be a trade-off for the slim body.
Reports suggest that Samsung will equip the device with a 3,900 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, offering slightly less capacity than its S25 siblings. Rumors also indicate that Samsung will offer the device in Light Blue, Black, and Silver color options.
