A senior Pakistani diplomat was denied entry into the United States upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport.
According to a private news channel, citing diplomatic sources, Pakistani Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ahsan Wagan, was stopped by U.S. immigration officials during a private visit.
The sources added the decision was linked to allegations of administrative misconduct from his previous tenure in the U.S.
Officials reportedly based their decision on complaints filed against Wagan during his past assignment, leading to his entry being refused.
Wagan has not publicly commented on the matter. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to release an official statement, though diplomatic circles indicate the issue is under review.
