The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a crisis management cell to assist Pakistani nationals affected by a powerful earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand.
In an official statement, the Foreign Office expressed solidarity with the people of both countries and assured that necessary support would be provided to Pakistanis in need. The Pakistani embassies in Yangon and Bangkok have been instructed to offer immediate help to citizens facing difficulties.
A Crisis Management Unit in Islamabad has also been activated to monitor the situation and coordinate assistance efforts. Pakistani nationals in Myanmar and Thailand have been urged to contact the following numbers in case of an emergency:

The move follows a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar, causing significant destruction, loss of life, and damage to infrastructure. The tremors were also felt in Thailand, where casualties and structural collapses were reported.
