The Punjab government has officially lifted the ban on teacher transfers, triggering a significant response on the first day, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Sources revealed that hundreds of teachers submitted their transfer applications immediately after the process resumed.
According to the report, only teachers applying for promotion-based, mutual, disposal, or adjustment transfers will be eligible under the current policy.
The deadline to submit transfer applications is April 13, while transfer orders will be issued after April 30, allowing sufficient time for teachers to finalize preferences and complete required documentation.
