MACPAC Films Limited (PSX: MACFL) has officially commenced commercial production using its newly procured advanced Thermal Extrusion Coating Machine, the company announced in a stock filing at the main bourse on Monday.
The development follows Macpac’s earlier announcement on January 13, 2025, regarding the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment. The launch of this production marks a key milestone in the company’s strategy to expand its portfolio of value-added products.
Macpac Films, already a pioneer in BOPP and CPP films in Pakistan, is now taking the lead in thermal extrusion coating technology.
“The successful deployment of this advanced Thermal Extrusion Coating Machine further underscores the Company’s commitment to innovation, technological advancement, and market development,” the filing added.
The principal activity of the company is to manufacture, produce, buy, and sell plastic packaging.
