British Council Exams Canceled?

In response to widespread misinformation on social media, the British Council Pakistan has issued an official clarification denying the cancellation of school exams under its supervision.

According to an announcement shared via the British Council Pakistan’s verified social media platforms, a false notice claiming the cancellation of exams has been circulating online. The organization labeled this notice as completely fake and confirmed that all scheduled exams will proceed as planned.

Students, parents, and educators are urged to disregard such unverified reports and rely solely on official British Council communication channels for accurate updates.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has announced a sudden delay in its intermediate examinations. The board postponed the exams just a day before they were set to begin, citing “unavoidable reasons.”

While the board has not provided a revised schedule, media reports indicate that the disruption was caused by a teachers’ boycott. The refusal of educators to carry out examination duties has reportedly left the board unable to make the necessary arrangements in time, pushing the exams into uncertainty.
