Several models have already been introduced, with more planned, aiming to reshape Pakistan’s electric and hybrid vehicle landscape.

BYD’s Expansion and Manufacturing Plans in Pakistan
BYD has plans to establish a local manufacturing facility in Karachi by 2026. Local assembly will help reduce prices, increase availability, and align with government initiatives to promote electric vehicle adoption. Alongside, BYD is working to build a nationwide network of fast-charging stations across major cities and highways.

Above models are already obsolete, as BYD already developed newer vehicles,with Sodium batteries, ultra fast charging & often huge price reductions to attract tech frenzy rich. No after sales, no spares, zero resale & disposing vehicles once batteries completed it’s life cycle will be environmental nightmare !

they should introduce 20 to 30 lac models and also 40 to 50 lac including plug-in hybrid . otherwise byd will flop
