The Punjab Food Authority on Sunday sealed a factory for violating hygiene rules, after finding rats in the food preparation area and expired items. Over 30 kg of expired items and 1 kg of prohibited Chinese salt were destroyed.
Under Dr. Muhammad Qasim Raza’s leadership, food safety teams inspected 78 points and 50 milk transport vehicles, imposing fines totaling Rs 110,000 for rule violations.
