The University of London has conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on Justice Ayesha Malik of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, according to a report by 24News on Tuesday.
The honorary degree was awarded to Justice Malik on April 28, 2025, in recognition of her significant contributions to the legal field.
Justice Ayesha Malik made history in 2022 by becoming the first woman to serve as a judge on Pakistan’s Supreme Court. The University of London honored her achievements and acknowledged her trailblazing role in the judiciary.
