A major water pipeline operated by the Water Corporation burst on Tuesday, causing severe flooding at Karachi University, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV.
The pipeline rupture has once again disrupted the water supply for residents across Karachi. The 84-inch pipeline, which runs through the university, released a massive volume of water, flooding the staff colony and entering residential units.
In response to the emergency, university authorities have begun evacuating residents from the affected colony to prevent further risk.
It is worth noting that this same pipeline had undergone repairs under the supervision of the Chief Engineer of WTM prior to the start of Ramadan.
