The government has declared a public holiday across the country on May 1 (Thursday) to mark “Labour Day.”
All government and private offices, schools, colleges, and markets will remain closed in observance of the day, which honors the contributions of workers and laborers.
“Labour Day” is observed every year in Pakistan to show solidarity with the working class and raise awareness about their rights and welfare.
