Pakistan Railways’ Lahore Division has conducted a significant anti-encroachment drive in the Badami Bagh area, targeting unauthorized occupations and non-compliant land usage.
As part of the operation, 160 plots were sealed due to breaches of lease agreements, illegal constructions, encroachments, and unpaid dues. The action was carried out under the direct supervision of Divisional Superintendent Mian Tariq Latif, with strong support from the Railway Police.
According to DS Railways, the campaign reflects the commitment of Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi to reclaim and protect railway land from encroachers. He emphasized that operations against land mafias will continue without compromise to uphold the integrity of public assets.
