6-Month KIBOR Falls Following Monetary Policy Announcement

The 6M Karachi Inter-Bank Offered Rate (KIBOR) is currently trading at 11.44 percent as of May 6, 2025.

Topline Securities said in a brief alert that the 6M KIBOR has fallen by 64 basis points to 11.44 percent from 12.08 percent yesterday on the back of a 100 bps decline in the policy rate by the State Bank of Pakistan.

The benchmark KIBOR is now just 44 bps lower than the central bank’s key lending rate, which stands at 11 percent.
