Saudi Arabia’s General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina is preparing to unveil its most extensive operational strategy yet for the upcoming Hajj season, with the official announcement scheduled for Thursday, corresponding to 10 Dhu Al-Qa’dah, 1446 AH.
This year’s plan, described as the most comprehensive enrichment-focused initiative since the introduction of updated regulations, emphasizes a pilgrim-centered approach. It is designed to accommodate the vast number of worshippers expected for Hajj by integrating advanced technologies and intelligent digital solutions.
The initiative aims to enhance the spiritual experience using artificial intelligence, smart systems, and a variety of digital platforms that will provide pilgrims with clear, accessible guidance throughout their journey.
