Death Toll From Indian Attack in Pakistan Rises to 26

Last night’s Indian strike across multiple locations in Pakistan martyred at least 26 civilians, including children, while 46 others were injured, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

The Indian attacks targeted civilian areas and religious sites, including mosques, causing significant casualties and damage.

In Bahawalpur’s Ahmedpur East, 13 civilians lost their lives—among them two three-year-old girls, seven women, and four men. The strike also left 37 injured, including 28 men and nine women.

An attack on Ummalkura Mosque in Muridke, Punjab, resulted in three fatalities and left one person injured. Near Muzaffarabad, an assault on Bilal Mosque killed three people and injured two children.

In Kotli, Indian shelling hit the Abbas Mosque, killing a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy, while a mother and her daughter were injured.

Firing along the Line of Control (LoC) claimed five more lives, including a five-year-old child. No casualties were reported in strikes on Sialkot and Shakargarh.

ISPR condemned the deliberate targeting of mosques and civilian infrastructure.
