A civilian lost his life in Punjab’s Attock district after debris from an Indian drone, downed by Pakistani security forces, crashed onto a shop, district authorities confirmed on Thursday.
According to the Attock district administration, the drone was intercepted by Pakistan’s air defense system, but falling wreckage landed on a local establishment, killing one person on the spot.
In a separate incident, another Indian drone was shot down in Nankana Sahib, also located in Punjab province. The local administration reported that no casualties or property damage occurred in that case.
