FBR Website Hacked by India – Here’s the Truth

Government sources in Pakistan have rejected claims made by an Indian group that it hacked the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) data.

The group claimed online that they had hacked the FBR’s IRIS portal and stolen over 150 GB of data. They also said they had access to sensitive information such as national ID numbers (CNICs), full names, phone numbers, addresses, and tax records.

Official sources told ProPakistani that FBR’s website has not been hacked, and the system is working fully and normally.

The FBR’s digital infrastructure remains secure and fully operational, the officials said, describing the hacking claim as fake news and part of a misinformation campaign.
