Pakistan Army Names Operation Against India as ‘Bunyan un Marsoos’

Tensions between Pakistan and India continue to escalate sharply. The Pakistan Army confirmed that Indian fighter jets carried out strikes on three Pakistani airbases—Noor Khan, Shorkot, and Mureed—using air-to-surface missiles.

DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif described these attacks as a deliberate act of aggression and warned, “Now you just wait for our response,” signaling Pakistan’s intention to retaliate.

In response, Pakistan has now launched a major counter-operation named Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos. This operation targets multiple sites across India, with Pakistani missiles striking Indian airbases in Gujrat, Adampur, and Jalandhar. Notably, the BrahMos missile storage site in Beas was destroyed in the initial phase of the operation.

The name “Bunyan un Marsoos” literally translates to “Iron Wall”. It is inspired by a verse from the Quran, Surah Saff, Ayat 4, which says:

Surely Allah loves those who fight in His cause in ‘solid’ ranks as if they were one concrete structure.

This name reflects the unity and strength of Pakistan’s response.

Security sources confirm that Pakistan’s military remains on high alert and is actively engaging multiple targets across India. Further details are expected as the situation develops.
