Pakistan Shuts Down Entire Airspace After Indian Attacks on Airbases

Pakistan has closed its airspace to all air traffic with immediate effect, following confirmed missile strikes by India on three Pakistani airbases. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced the airspace closure early Thursday morning, stating it will remain in effect until noon.

The extraordinary move comes in the wake of a serious escalation in regional tensions. Earlier today, the Pakistan Army confirmed that India launched air-to-surface missiles targeting three key airbases: Noor Khan, Mureed, and Shorkot.

In a statement, the military assured the public that all defense assets remain safe and operational, despite the attempted strikes.

The situation remains fluid, and the PAA is expected to provide an update closer to the scheduled reopening time.
