In response to the ongoing heatwave, the Punjab government has revised school timings for all public institutions across the province from May 21 to May 27, 2025, just ahead of the summer holidays.
A notification issued by the School Education Department outlines the new schedule for both students and teachers.
For students, school hours will be from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, Monday to Friday.
For teachers, the revised timing will be:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:15 am to 12:00 noon
- Friday: 7:15 am to 11:30 am
- Alternate Saturdays: 7:30 am to 10:30 am
